Experiences
The island is the reason
General Luna is the heart of Siargao: the surf of Cloud 9 minutes away, island hopping to Guyam and Naked Island, and an outdoor pool and rooftop lounge to come home to.

On the water, minutes away
Surf Cloud 9
The wave that put Siargao on the map breaks a short ride from the resort: Cloud 9, the famous right-hand barrel that draws surfers from across the world. Gentler beginner and longboard breaks sit close by for a first stand-up, and the reception team can point the whole crew to the right peak for the day, the tide and your level. Come back salted and sun-warmed, and slip straight into the pool.

A boat ride offshore
Island hopping
The classic Siargao day on the water, made for sharing. A banca out to Guyam, a single palm-crowned speck of sand only 1.8 km offshore; then Naked Island, a bare white sandbar about 12 km out with nothing on it but the sea. White sand, clear water and long, easy swimming the whole day. Ask at reception and we will arrange the boat and the timing for your family.
Out on the island
Where the days go
Cloud 9
The world-class right-hand barrel a short ride from the resort, with a boardwalk out over the reef to watch the sets roll in.
Guyam & Naked Island
A palm islet 1.8 km offshore and a bare white sandbar about 12 km out by boat — white sand, clear water and easy swimming all day.
General Luna Beach
Less than a kilometre away, a soft barefoot stretch of sand for an early swim or a slow afternoon with the family.
Beginner breaks
Softer, friendlier waves a short way from Cloud 9, where a first surf lesson finds its feet before the reef peaks.

At your own pace
Explore by bike
Borrow a bicycle at reception and let General Luna unfold slowly: a few barefoot minutes to the beach, an amble into town, or a longer roll out under the coconut road, palms arching overhead the whole way. No plan needed — just a direction, an afternoon and the family along for the ride.

A little further afield
Day trips inland
When you fancy a day a little further afield, the island delivers: the Magpupungko tidal pools open into clear natural water at low tide, and the still, emerald Sugba Lagoon is made for an easy paddle. Both make a relaxed day trip from the resort, and reception can help with the boat, the timing and getting the whole crew there and back.
Within easy reach
From the doorstep to the deep
Cloud 9
The world-class right-hand barrel a short ride from the resort, with gentler beginner breaks close by for a first stand-up.
Guyam & Naked Island
Two islands in one boat day — a palm islet 1.8 km offshore and a bare white sandbar around 12 km out, both white sand and clear water.
Day trips inland
An easy run out to the Magpupungko tidal pools or the still water of Sugba Lagoon when you want a day a little further afield.
By bicycle
Borrow a bike at reception and roll out to General Luna Beach, the town and the coconut road at your own pace.
Back at the resort
Swim, then sunset
Not every day has to leave the gate. The outdoor pool sits ringed by palms, a few barefoot steps from the rooms — an early swim before the heat, or a long, easy cool down after the surf. Then, as the light softens, the whole family heads up to the rooftop lounge to watch the sun go down over General Luna.
